The Lawrence Police Street Narcotics Unit and the North
Shore Gang Task Force arrested Gabriel McCray Sobczak age 24 of South Portland,
Maine, Myra Elizabeth Gonyer age 51 of South Portland, Maine, and Willie
Carmona-Gonzalez age 25 of Lawrence. Sobczak and Gonyer traveled from South
Portland, Maine to Lawrence to purchase Fentanyl. While conducting surveillance in the Alder
and Bennington Street area, Detectives observed Carmon-Gonzalez approached Sobczak,
who was sitting in his car, and conducted a hand to hand drug transaction with
him. As a result of their observations,
Detectives then conducted a motor vehicle stop of Mr. Sobczak and Ms.
Gonyer. Detectives then recovered 20 grams
of Fentanyl from Sobczak. As a result of
these findings, Detectives then stopped Mr. Cardona-Gonzalez and recovered an
additional 37.8 grams of Fentanyl from him.
All three have been arranged in Lawrence District Court
charges with Drug trafficking, and distribution charges.
