Following an investigation by the Lawrence Police Department, North Andover Police, Essex County Sherriff’s Department, Massachusetts State Police, and the US Marshalls Service, a search warrant was obtained for a Water Street apartment. As a result of the execution of the search warrant, a loaded 40 caliber Smith and Wesson pistol was recovered. Subsequently, an arrest warrant was issued for one of the occupants of the apartment.  A short time later investigators located the suspect who was taken into custody without incident. 

Jeremy Felix age 20 of Lawrence was arraigned in Lawrence District Court on firearms related charges.

As always, the Lawrence Police will continue to partner with other local, state and federal agencies to take dangerous individuals such as this one off the street.
