On Thursday, August 29, 2019, at approximately 0100 hours, a serious domestic-related incident wherein the suspect fired shots into the air, took place on Farley St., in Lawrence.
Det. Paul MacMillan, of the Lawrence Police Department’s newly formed Domestic Violence Unit (DVU), and Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS) Trooper DJ Dolan, entered an arrest warrant for the suspect into the NCIC system. Within hours of initiating their investigation, Det. MacMillan and Tpr. Dolan tracked the suspect into Hudson, New Hampshire.
With the assistance of the Hudson NH Police Department and the United States Marshall’s Service, an arrest warrant was executed in Hudson, NH and the suspect was subsequently apprehended. The firearm used in the Lawrence incident was also recovered. The suspect provided investigators with a full confession of the incident. He faces Massachusetts charges related to the Lawrence incident and has also been charged with being a Fugitive from Justice and other firearms related charges in NH.
